So I learned from my last couple faces and went back and darkened lines on this one before I scanned it, so it came through much better. Tried a different style today. I like everything about this one except the hair behind the neck and the pupils of the eye.

Large Face (Sketchbook) 27 May 17
Drawing big is very different than drawing small, and I am completely and totally not used to it. But I need to do it more. It is so much easier to do some things large than small. Even if you can see every glaring error so much easier, and a lot of it looks.... emptier, I guess. Small, every one of those details has little white space between. Anyway. Also I'm noticing my scanner doesn't pick up the pencil very easily. I probably just don't use enough pressure.

Faces Practice (Sketchbook) 25 May 17
Trying to practice faces, using a few different techniques from online. Some work better than others. Also, apparently I am deathly afraid of erasing anything to make it better. If I was better I would erase what I don't like and just make it better and then everything I made would be something I was satisfied with. Eventually.
